The Franklin Band earned top honors at the Middle Tennessee State University Contest of Champions on October 27.
Along with winning the Class AAA Championship and the Grand Champion title, the band took home the Tennessee Governor’s Cup for the seventh time.
For those interested in seeing the award-winning performance, The Franklin Band will perform its show, Out There, at the annual Community Cavalcade on November 3.
The band’s annual car raffle winner will also be announced at the event.
The Community Cavalcade begins at 5 p.m. at the Franklin High Howard Gamble Stadium. The event is free and open to the public.
