Roadie Reaction: Rocket City United

After the dramatic 1-1 tie, the Roadies made their way to the parking lot and on their way home before I could reach them for an on-camera interview. They are not to be blamed because of how long I wandered around on the pitch, almost in a daze.

So many emotions.

Proud that the team battled back from down a goal to get a point.

Frustrated that we certainly could have taken all three points.

Excited that we were still in first place and undefeated.

Angered at the referee for some questionable decisions and at the way the Rocket City United players pulled, shoved and tackled aggressively, making the game sloppy and not as entertaining as it could have been for the sold out crowd.

So, for this week’s Roadie Reaction, we are listing the Top Ten Tweets from Saturday night.

10.

Another great crowd over 1,800 in a 1,500 seat stadium. Very nice.

9.

I know coach Johnson said he wouldn’t say anything bad about the officiating but I will. If the referee lets that play out Nashville wins 2-1. The Fourth Official who I was standing next to, agreed.

8.

Keep bringing in new fans and watch this thing grow.

7.

Yes it is, if only there were RCU supporters to trash talk with. It’s likely they have just as many fans as they had goals on Saturday.

6.

That’s how it felt for me too sara. Kind of felt like a loss, especially when there were plenty of chances to win.

5.

Nothing I can say will help make this picture any cooler. 4.

THANK YOU!! Just keep coming back and I have reasons to keep doing this stuff!

3.

O’Conner missed the PK at the end of the game. But I think he’ll make up for it at some point in the season.

2.

Still undefeated. Still top of the table.

1. I saved this for last, hoping NFC players see these tweets and realize what a win next Tuesday would mean to shut their fan up.

Stay Classy Huntsville.

From now on, we will definitely conciser it.

How nice was it to look at the stands and see…ya know, spectators?
