Leadership Franklin Awards Scholarship To Hayley Wilkins

Leadership Franklin awarded a $1,500 college scholarship to local student Hayley Wilkins, at the Graduation Dinner for the Leadership Franklin Class of 2013-2014. Wilkins was selected from applicants based on a combination of scholarship application points, community involvement, and quality of a written essay.

Wilkins is a 2011 graduate of Fred J. Page High School in Franklin. She is currently a student at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, where she is majoring in International Business and Management. Wilkins serves as a Gordon Ford College of Business Ambassador, is a member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority, and has served with Live58 as an intern. Wilkins is the daughter of Cindy and Bob Wilkins of Franklin. Leadership Franklin is a non-profit community leadership organization dedicated to educating, informing, and empowering leaders to improve the quality of life in Franklin and Williamson County. Leadership Franklin is funded primarily by business, individual, and alumni contributions. Each year, twenty participants are selected based on commitment to the Williamson County community, previous participation in community, civic, or professional organizations, and demonstrated leadership in current or previous positions.
