Each day, we will bring you a photo of the day, showcasing the sights of Williamson County (and beyond). Whether it’s a photo of a local landmark, a park, a photo from an event or just a great photo from the area, we want to showcase our local communities throughout the next year.
Photo of the day: The Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum hosted a Songwriter Session with singer-songwriter Carter Faith in the museum’s Ford Theater. During Songwriter Sessions at the museum, accomplished songwriters behind classic and current hits visit each week to share stories and songs.
Carter Faith released her debut album, Cherry Valley, in 2025. Inspired by a real place discovered on the way to a songwriting retreat, the album’s fictional world reflects her observations on love, loss and resilience. Faith, who was named a CMT Next Women of Country in 2023, has also released several EPs and more than a dozen singles since 2020. She signed her recording contract with Universal Music Group Nashville — now Music Corporation of America — in 2024. Faith is currently on her first headlining tour and has previously opened for Little Big Town, Maren Morris, Carly Pearce, Keith Urban, and others.
This program is presented in support of the exhibition American Currents: State of the Music, which currently features Faith. Open through January 2027
