Former Nashville Predator Martin Erat Arrested for DUI, Hit-and-Run

A Former Nashville Predator is facing multiple charges after he was allegedly involved in a hit-and-run while driving under the influence Saturday, according to WKRN.

Court documents state a blue Tesla, allegedly driven by Martin Erat, was seen driving recklessly near Nolensville Road and Brittain Lane around 3pm. Police also received a call that reported a blue Tesla being involved in a hit-and-run with a white Cadillac Escalade in a subdivision nearby.

Shortly after, News 2 says the same Tesla reportedly entered Brentwood and struck a mailbox. Witnesses identified Erat, 43, as the driver.

Erat, who played 11 seasons with the Nashville Predators, has been involved in youth hockey programs, including serving as director of hockey and player development for the Nashville Warriors.

Erat now faces DUI, leaving the scene of a crash, and failure to exercise due care. He was released on a $30,000 bond.
