On Thursday morning, we met Mags McCarthy, who recently moved to the area from County Cork, Ireland.
With the backdrop of downtown Franklin, Mags, who brought her grandfather’s fiddle to play, not only writes her own songs and performs them, she dances and sings too. She started dancing at the age of 4 and soon afterwards starting playing the violin.
Mags joined the dance troupe Rhythm Of The Dance and toured all over the U.S. with a performance at Dollywood with one of her favorite country artists, Dolly Parton.
