Calling youth basketball players wanting to play this fall! Registration is open to play with Upward Stars in the Phenoms’ League at A-Game Sportsplex.
Upward Stars will have boys teams for grades 4th through 8th and girls teams for only 6th and 7th grade. Boys tryouts are scheduled for Sunday, August 9th and girls tryouts are on Wednesday August 12th. The website has a complete list of what time each grade level tryout will be held. All tryouts are being held at A-Game.
The season will include 6 Saturday games beginning on August 29th and ending October 10th. An end of season tournament will take place on October 18th. To maximize playing time, teams will have no more than nine players each.
Practices begin the week of August 16th, with three practices prior to the first game, and weekly practice thereafter.
The fee to tryout is $20 and if chosen for the Phenom team, costs are listed on the website. Each player receives a uniform for the season included in the cost.
