Tennessee Soccer Club (TSC) and cureHUNTER, a non-profit who raises money to support childhood cancer research at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital, hosted a golf tournament and social event earlier this month at Vanderbilt Legends Golf Club. One hundred percent of the proceeds raised will be used to fight childhood cancer.
“We were thrilled to partner with cureHUNTER and the Doyle family in hosting this event this year,” said TSC Tournament and Event Director Jimmy Drain. “All of the golfers and social attendees had a great time supporting a great cause. Everyone with cureHUNTER has done a wonderful job building the foundation for this event and we really enjoyed being able to work alongside them to add some layers and try to raise more money and awareness this year.”
The day at Vanderbilt Legends was split into two parts, the golf tournament in the afternoon and the social event in the evening. The golf tournament included 80 golfers, many of whom were joined by their families for the evening event. Lunch and dinner were served, and the guests in the evening were treated to live music, a silent auction and a magic show. D1 Sports, a supporter of both TSC and cureHUNTER, was there to oversee an obstacle course that was set up for kids during the evening.
TSC and cureHUNTER would like to thank everyone from the community that participated in or supported this year’s event.
