With Labor Day being observed on Monday, Sept. 1, trash collection throughout the city of Franklin will see a shift in scheduled pickups.
Simply put, trash day will be pushed one day than normal. If your commuity garbage is picked up on Monday, it will instead be on Tuesday.
Tuesday will move to Wednesday, Wednesday will move to Thursday and Thursday will move to Friday.
The Williamson County-Solid Waste Department will work a four-day week, and during this shift, large brush items will still be collected. Brown bags and blue recycling bags will also be collected.
