Mark your calendars for the return of the 3rd Annual PorchFest, an art and music festival showcasing local musical talent on Saturday June 21st from 4:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. at the Westhaven community in West Franklin.
With the overwhelming success of last year’s event, PorchFest 2014 looks to build and bring more musical acts from all genres of music back to this year’s event. The entire event is family friendly, open to the public and free of charge.
PorchFest will include over 75 performers from local and regional musical acts, playing on more than 20 porches in the Westhaven community throughout the event.
Residents volunteer their porches as a way to support the local music scene and interact with their neighbors. Bands and acoustic artists will play on the front porches of Westhaven residents’ starting at 4 p.m.
This year’s media sponsor, Lightning 100, will be on site, broadcasting live from Westhaven’s Town Center from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
A lakeside concert performed by Raven Cliff will be closing out the evening beginning at 8:00pm.
An artist showcase has been added to the line up this year. Photographers, jewelers and visual artists will showcase and sell their designs in the Westhaven Town Center throughout the event.
Multiple food vendors will be on site including Biscuit Love, Hoss’ Loaded Burgers, The Grilled Cheeserie, Yayo’s OMG, Bradley’s Curbside Creamery, Julia’s Sweets Truck, Puckett’s Trolley, Tiger Meat Hotdogs, and Retro Sno serving up in Westhaven’s Town Center. Deg Thai, Brown Bag Catering, King Tut Truck, and Tiger Meat Hotdogs will be located at Westhaven’s Residents’ Club.
