Part 3 of our Taste of Williamson Series – Drury Plaza
Make your evening out at Taste of Williamson a mini vacation and take your rest at the Drury Plaza on McEwen, “where the extras aren’t extra.” The Drury is the newest hotel to open in Williamson County and they have really made an impression. Easily visible from the interstate on the hill at the McEwen exit sits the most comfortable lodgings we have visited in years.
“It doesn’t get much better than this.” Spacious and elegantly furnished the Drury Plaza is perfect for a weekend getaway, lodgings for corporate affairs and visiting groups like sports teams. Plush beds and bedding, comfortable in-room office accessories, free Wi-Fi and stunning views of the Cool Springs area creates a relaxing atmosphere. Common areas in the hotel are large with comfortable seating for meet & greet and the dining area is perfect for meetings as well. Convention and business space is abundant and available for use, giving local businesses a fresh alternative.
If that is not enough reason to visit, let us enlighten you of all the extras you receive. Hot breakfast and dinner is served daily. Not make your own waffles or toast your own bagel either. The dinner consists of snack foods for people just getting off the road as well as baked potatoes, pasta dishes, salad and hot dogs for the kids or kid at heart. A full soda fountain and coffee are available and those over 21 enjoy 3 adult beverages on the house too.
The marble over sized showers and fluffy towels were among our favorites. Large flat screen TV with movie channels provided and free long distance calls were also welcomed. An indoor-outdoor swimming pool and ample fitness room top off the perks here. If you have not given them a look we would highly recommend you do.
Drury Plaza is also green friendly and conservation minded. They replace linens every 4 days for long term visitors and will only replace towels you place on the floor so you can reuse if you wish. Parking is abundant and all in front of the hotel for easy access. Next door is the new opened Granite City Restaurant and Brewery for your dining convenience.
