After three decades of searching for a permanent home, Franklin Classical School has finally found its place to grow. The private college-preparatory institution recently acquired a 65,466 square foot building in Franklin’s Cool Springs area, marking the end of a long journey that saw the school move from building to building since its founding 33 years ago. With the support of NAI Nashville Stanton Group, the school secured 1021 Windcross Court—a three-story facility on over six acres that promises to provide the stability and space needed to support its mission of classical Christian education for kindergarten through 12th grade students.
NAI Nashville Stanton Group represented the acquisition of 1021 Windcross Court in Franklin, Tennessee, by Windcross Realty II, LLC to Franklin Classical School.
“From our first meeting with Franklin Classical School, we knew this would be a highly collaborative process,” said Ben Claybaker, CCIM, Principal at NAI Nashville Stanton Group. “By working closely with key stakeholders, we sought to fully understand the school’s vision and unique challenges. For 33 years, the school moved from building to building in search of a permanent home that could support its growth and long-term goals. After evaluating multiple properties, 1021 Windcross Court stood out as the ideal solution.”
“Once under contract, we guided the school’s leadership through a range of complexities involving financing, design, and build-out,” said Brandon Hoop, CCIM, Principal at NAI Nashville Stanton Group. “The board and building committee remained engaged and collaborative throughout the process. We’re honored to have supported Franklin Classical School in this transformative step. Helping mission-driven organizations achieve their real estate goals has been a long-standing priority for our team, and this project reflects that commitment.”
Located in the Cool Springs area of Franklin, Tennessee, 1021 Windcross Court is a 65,466 square foot, three-story building situated on 6.34 acres. Originally constructed in 2000, the facility previously operated as a single-tenant office building.
Ben Claybaker, CCIM, and Brandon Hoop, CCIM, of NAI Nashville Stanton Group represented Franklin Classical School. Shane Douglas, Ashley Harrison, and Patrick Inglis of Colliers represented the seller.
Franklin Classical School shared on its social media that they are currently renovating the building to make it compatible with the school’s needs.
