The recent completion of the full stretch of State Route 840 into Williamson County is expected to further the growth of the Spring Hill area. 2012 was a good year and progress can be seen everywhere. Two medical centers are being built, TriStar Centennial Medical Center and the Maury Regional Medical Center.

April is election time for Mayor and Alderman. Candidates have until January 17 to qualify. Curbside recycling begins in April with a single container holding all recyclables. The crematory construction is underway at the Williamson Memorial Funeral Home & Gardens.

Wal-Mart broke ground in November and expects construction of the building to begin soon. There is also a Waffle House coming to Wall Street and Express Oil is opening a full service maintenance facility on Hwy 31.

The Spring Hill Chamber is having a Coffee Rush Mixer on Friday, January 11th from 9-10 a.m. at the Northfield Building. Advance Foot and Ankle Care Center is holding a Ribbon Cutting on Monday, January 21st from Noon-1 p.m.

There is a Job Fair on Thursday, January 10th at Goodwill Career Solutions, 1008 Nasdaq Street, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Bring resumes, photo id, Social Security card, your birth certificate and dress for success. Employers included in this fair are Aid & Assist at Home, Express Employment Professionals, The Home Depot, Krystal, Landscape Services Inc., Little Caesars Pizza, Logan’s Roadhouse, Lowe’s Home Improvement, Randstad, Staffmark, TRG Customer Solutions, and Turf Masters.
