If you follow Centennial Cougars linebacker Tyrel Dodson on Twitter, this has become a common sight:
Just want to thank God and University of Missouri for my #15 offer! Thank you so much lord!!#SEC pic.twitter.com/fxxfEWI7Ah

As a junior, Dodson recorded 74 tackles, two sacks, three interceptions, and two forced fumbles for Centennial according to recruiting website 247Sports.
During the course of the 2014 season, he only had one scholarship offer though – New Mexico State. A few offers began to trickle in early in the new year – Mercer, Middle Tennessee State, and Arkansas State.
The floodgates seemingly opened for Dodson over the last month though, bringing his total to 15, and Big Names are beginning to take notice.
Since March 5, Dodson has received 10 scholarship offers and two have been from Major Conferences – Illinois (Big 10) and Missouri (SEC).
At 6-foot-2, 225-pounds, and running a 4.6 40-yard dash, Dodson should expect to see big offers continuing to come in.
Seemingly the prototypical inside linebacker, Dodson is drawing interest from schools such as Vanderbilt, Stanford, and UCLA. Though not officially listed on recruiting websites, Tennessee seems to be in the mix after Dodson attended their Junior Day in late March.
