Christ Presbyterian Academy is pleased to announce three National Commended Scholars in the upper school: Francesca Moore, Margaret Spodnik, and Sarah Westmoreland.
About 34,000 National Merit Commended Students throughout the country are being recognized for their exceptional academic promise. Commended Students placed among the top 50,000 scorers of more than 1.6 million students who entered the 2019 competition by taking the 2017 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.
“We’re so proud of Francesca, Margaret, and Sarah, all three of whom have consistently challenged themselves academically, not for their own gain, but to glorify God through their giftings. I’m excited to see what the future holds for each of them!” says Head of Upper School Dr. Parker Altman.
