Bojangles’ Famous Chicken ‘n Biscuits officially opened its doors this Tuesday in Spring Hill at 4879 Port Royal Rd. Bojangles’ began in 1977 by operators Jack Fulk and Richard Thomas.  They wanted to create a quick-service restaurant based on 3 key attributes; distinctive flavor profile, made from scratch high-quality products, and a fun restaurant with friendly service.

Owner Henson Moore said, “this is a full opening but we wanted to keep it low key and not push advertising to give the new staff a chance to learn the job and menu.” Moore went on to say, “some of the delays so far have been with customers in the drive-thru getting familiar with the menu and all of the delicious side options available but once they get past that it has been moving pretty quick.”

Location location location! You hear this all the time and for restaurants this hold so true. Mr Moore thinks he has an A location for all the morning commute traffic from nearby condos and apartments getting to Saturn Parkway and wanting to grab a quick meal for the drive to work.

The real drawl to Bojangles’ is the handmade biscuits. “We make all the biscuits from scratch with a rolling pin,” said owner Henson Moore. Eleven overall choices of biscuit products are available including steak biscuits and gravy biscuits.
