The 2025 Williamson County Fair, scheduled for August 1–9 at the Williamson County Ag Expo Park, is seeking volunteers. Community members are encouraged to sign up online to be part of the volunteer team that helps bring this local tradition to life.
Volunteering offers a unique, hands-on way to be part of the fair experience. Whether greeting guests, guiding families, or supporting exhibits, volunteering is one of the best ways to experience the fair. The volunteers’ dedication helps uphold the fair’s mission of community enrichment and education through agriculture, arts, and culture.
“One of the most impactful ways to be involved in the fair is through volunteering,” said Fair Chairman Paul Webb. “Our volunteers make it possible to deliver an engaging, family-friendly event year after year. Without them, we can’t offer the full fair experience.”
This year, organizers encourage individuals to consider volunteering in the Little 1’s Farming exhibit, a popular, hands-on attraction designed to teach children about the farm-to-table process in an interactive and age-appropriate way. Due to its popularity, the exhibit requires consistent staffing throughout the nine-day event in order to operate.
Volunteer opportunities are available across various departments and time slots. Those who complete a minimum four-hour shift will receive the following benefits:
-
- Two general admission tickets to enjoy the fair on another day
- A complimentary volunteer t-shirt (while supplies last)
- A complimentary volunteer hat (while supplies last)
- Access to the Volunteer Lounge with water and snacks
- Discounted food from Puckett’s or Cattleman’s Corral on the day of your shift (daily wristband required)
- An invitation to the Volunteer Appreciation Dinner on Thursday, July 31, at 5:30 p.m.
The Williamson County Fair is an approved non-profit organization for school community service hours. Volunteer hours can count toward Senior Projects, Honor Society requirements, and other related community service initiatives.
Individuals must be at least 16 years of age to volunteer independently. Those under 16 may participate with a parent or guardian, or as members of the Junior Fair Board (ages 13+). All volunteers are required to complete a waiver and review the Fair’s rules and guidelines before participating.
