National Thrift Shop Day
Saturday, August 15, 9 am – 6 pm

On Saturday, August 15, shoppers are invited to visit both GraceWorks Ministries Thrift Store and The Habitat ReStore of Williamson County during regular business hours. At each Franklin location, customers can pick up a National Thrift Day punch card and receive a punch after making a visit. Once both locations have been visited, participants can turn in their completed punch card at either store to be entered into a drawing. On National Thrift Day, Monday, August 17, three winners will be selected to receive shopping certificates to both stores.
TLC- Salt n Pepa at FirstBank

TLC and Salt-N-Pepa are bringing some serious ’90s nostalgia to Franklin when their It’s Iconic Tour kicks off at FirstBank Amphitheater on Saturday, Aug. 15. The co-headlining tour also features En Vogue, putting three influential female groups behind hits like “Waterfalls,” “No Scrubs,” “Push It” and “Whatta Man.”

Enjoy jazz on the hillside at Arrington Vineyards with Triple Dare Jazz Band. Also, there will be a bluegrass band, Grasstime at the Barn. You can order food from Simply Living Life and The Derby Desserts and Coffee.

Nashville’s Professional Bull Riding team will have a weekend of competition at Bridgestone Arena with a full schedule of events where you can meet the riders and bulls.
