Hosted by the Ryman Auditorium was the inaugural Association of Independent Music Publishers Awards, a celebration that honors top independent publishers, songs and songwriters.
Taking to the stage during the award show was Maren Morris with Brothers Osborne singing Chris Stapleton’s song “Fire Away” from his latest album,Traveller.
Morris stated on her Instagram.
“Such a moment getting to sing @castapleton’s “Fire Away” with @brothersosborne at the Ryman tonight. Thank you to the AIMP Awards for dreaming up a beautiful evening to support songwriters and publishers.”
