The Chicago Cubs won their first World Series title since 1908 earlier this week, ending a 108 year drought, the longest in U.S. professional sports. Ben Zobrist of Franklin was named Would Series MVP, making him the first Cub to win the MVP award that dates back to 1955.

Zobrist’s wife, Julianna, is a Christian contemporary singer and she posted an amazing video of Cubs fans shouting outside their home.

“I believed we would win. I was prepared to win. And I knew any man on the team could be the hero of game 7. So I count it a complete gift from God that He would allow my husband, the most humble, hard working, selfless man and ballplayer I know, to be named the MVP. I am undone,” Julianna posted on Facebook after the big win.zobrist-mvp
