Having a smartphone is a way of life for most of us, but could you ditch your smartphone for a year for $100,000?
Vitaminwater is hosting a no smartphone challenge. If you are willing to be without your smartphone for one year, Vitaminwater will pay you $100,000.
Between now and Jan. 7, 2019, those bold enough to take the challenge can use the hashtag #nophoneforayear on Twitter or Instagram and describe what a year without a smartphone would look like. Vitaminwater will select a winner based on originality/creativity, brand relevance, humor, and submission quality.
Don’t worry, Vitaminwater will supply you with a phone to use for the challenge – a Nokia 3310, the most popular phone in 2000, the same year Vitaminwater launched.
There will be a lie detector test given at the end of 12 months to ensure the candidate has followed the rules. If the candidate makes it six months, he or she would receive a payout of $10,000.
