Several roads are closed in Franklin, police said.
Demonstrating the perilous of the flooding, a woman has to be rescued this afternoon from her car after being carried away by flood waters, according to Franklin police.
Her car was stuck off Eastern Flank Park and Carnton Plantation. Police have since closed both areas.
3rd Avenue has also been closed between North Margin and 4th Ave due to water across the roadway.
