Witherspoon Opens Store in Nashville

Nashville’s favorite actress, Reese Witherspoon, has launched Draper James, a retail brand with a focus on fashion, accessories and home décor inspired by the American South.

The best part  of all of this, Draper James will be launching a brick and mortar store in Nashville opening in the fall.  No official word on the location but we will  keep you updated.

It’s named after Reese’s grandparents, Dorothea Draper and William James Witherspoon, who, according to a press release, “remain today her greatest influences.”

“I created Draper James to honor my past and allow others to embrace the beauty, style and excitement that embodies what is happening in the South today,” Witherspoon says in a statement.

In addition to clothes, accessories and home items, there is a “Love, Reese” section of the website where we learn of the actress’ fondess for Nashville and one of her favorite southern restaurant–Husk in Nashville. There are other great sections on her site including “I Love Luncheons,” a city guide to New Orleans, and a section of “Southernisms,” which include cheeky sayings such as “Am I overdressed? Yes. Oh good.”

While you wait for the brick and mortar store to open, check out the  James Draper website for a sneak peek of all the available items. Any guesses as to where the store will be located?
