The NWS issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Wednesday:
Snow, freezing rain, and sleet before 9am, then a chance of rain. High near 36. South southeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total daytime ice accumulation of less than a 0.1 of an inch possible. Total daytime snow and sleet accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.

Precautionary/preparedness actions
Winter weather advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or Freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibility. Use caution while Driving. Franklin’s Street Department began putting down salt brine on major snow routes beginning at 12am Wednesday. Once major routes were completed, secondary routes were brined.
