Wine Down Main Street Takes Place Saturday

Celebrating 19 years, Wine Down Main Street presented by Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee (BGCMT) will be held Saturday, November 2, 2019 from 7 to 10 PM.

This unique wine tasting event takes place along historic Main Street in downtown Franklin. Attendees can check out more than 30 shops that will play host to wines from around the world. Participants taste wines, shop, and sample food from area restaurants all while listening to great live music. Three stages of live music will entertain the crowd with musical guests of Gale Mayes featuring KC Martin, Elecoustic Soul, and VIP entertainment will be Brauninger “Bronzie Girl” McDaniel.

Samplings from local restaurants will be provided by Papa C Pies, Puckett’s Boathouse, Ruby Sunshine, Tiff’s Treats, Triple Crown Bakery, White Bison, Sopapilla’s, Pieology, Menu Maker, Merridee’s, and Miller’s Ale House just to name a few.

Wine tastings include GIFFT Wine by Kathie Lee Gifford, Toi Toi Botran, and more. For those interested in spirits, tastings will include Old Hickory Straight 86 Proof, Cielo Tequila, Smirnoff Zero, and Corsair Gin.

New this year, a VIP event will be held at the Harpeth Hotel. VIP guests will be treated to a private food and wine-tasting experience from 6 to 9 PM in the Riverside Ballroom of the Harpeth Hotel, the hotel will not be open to the public until early 2020.

Since 2001, Wine Down Main Street has raised more than $1,859,737 in support of youth 5-18 years old benefitting from afterschool, summer, and outreach programming.

General admission tickets are $85, VIP tickets are sold-out, Premium VIP tickets are $200. Each Premium VIP holder receives access to the VIP event along with a gift bag valued at over $200.
