Wilson Bank & Trust Announces Williamson County Staff

Wilson Bank & Trust (WBT), Middle Tennessee’s Community Bank™, is pleased to announce the hiring of a trio of financial services veterans to lead its first Williamson County office in Cool Springs, which will open its doors to the public December 3.

“This is an exciting time for us as we expand into Williamson County, and we could not be more pleased to open our Cool Springs location with these three experienced, local bankers at the helm,” said President John McDearman.

Tabatha Tharpe joins the office team as commercial lending vice president, a role that will include building and growing loan relationships with business clients. She brings more than 25 years of banking experience to Wilson Bank & Trust, including 10 years of concentration in corporate and business lending. Most recently, Tharpe served as a relationship manager at Volunteer State Bank. She has also worked as a commercial lender at First Citizens Bank and a as commercial/consumer lender at Independence Bank in Kentucky. Tharpe earned her bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Western Kentucky University / Mid-Content University. In the community, Tharpe serves as a volunteer with Interfaith Dental Nashville and is a Rotary Club member.

Beth Palk will guide and direct the staff and branch operations as manager of the new office. Palk most recently served as a mortgage loan officer with BB&T and has also worked as a relationship manager at both First Tennessee Bank and BB&T. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Business and Economics from Mary Baldwin College in Staunton, Va. Palk’s extensive involvement in the community includes service with the Williamson County Chamber of Commerce, the Williamson County Association of Realtors and the Nashville Association of Realtors.

Wade Quinn brings 20 years of financial services industry experience to his new position as Wilson Bank’s mortgage sales manager in Williamson County. Quinn, previously a mortgage loan consultant with Fifth Third Bank and SunTrust Bank, will originate and oversee secondary market mortgage lending at the Cool Springs location. Quinn graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing.

The Cool Springs office, located at 9200 Carothers Parkway, marks Wilson Bank & Trust’s 28th full-service location in Middle Tennessee. With the Williamson County addition, Wilson Bank & Trust now operates in nine area counties.
