1. Williamson County Fair

WHAT: The Williamson County Fair kicks off Aug 4th and runs through the 12th.

General admission to the fair is $7 for adults, $4 for children ages 6-12 and children 5 and under are free.

The Williamson County Fair is fun for the whole family with live music and entertainment acts, rides, livestock shows, demonstrations and more.

WHEN: Aug 4-12, Fair Hours: Monday – Thursday 6:00p – 10:00p (Midway closes at 11:00 p.m.), Friday 6:00p – 10:00p (Midway closes at 12:00 midnight), Saturday 10:00a – 10:00p (Midway closes at 12:00 midnight) and Sunday 12:00 noon – 10:00p (Midway closes at 11:00 p.m.).

2. Franklin Art Scene

WHAT:  Franklin Art Scene returns this Friday to highlight local artists and the robust artistic community in Downtown Franklin, and guests are invited to stay cool by hopping aboard the Art Scene trolley for free rides throughout the crawl.

The art event is hosted by the Downtown Franklin Association on the first Friday of every month as a “tour of the arts.” In August, 27 sites will participate, featuring a variety of mediums, including oil painting, watercolors, photography, mixed-media, ceramics and more.

3. Williamson County Schools Infothon

WCS to Host 2017 Back to School Infothon

WHAT: Have questions about the upcoming school year? Join Williamson County Schools (WCS) Saturday, August 5 for their Back to School Infothon.

Representatives from all school departments will be on hand to provide back to school information to parents, and children will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of hands-on activities.

4. Corn Bash at Nolensville Farmer’s Market

WHAT: Chef Megan Hendrix from And 3 Foods will be at the Nolensville Farmer’s Market to cook up some fresh corn dishes. They will also have a fun photo booth, corn play zone, and more fun corn kids activities.

5. Southern Whiskey Society

WHAT: An evening of delicious food & whiskey at the first gathering of The Southern Whiskey Society! Enjoy tastings from 9 award-winning Southern chefs and sample 30+ different Southern whiskeys. Each guest will also receive two drink tickets for Eli Mason cocktails featuring Rabbit Hole bourbon! Proceeds from this event will benefit The Battle of Franklin Trust, a 501c3 organization dedicated to the preservation of The Carter House and Carnton Plantation: two historic sites in Franklin, Tennessee that witnessed the 1864 Battle of Franklin.
