1. Franklin 4 the Cure
WHAT: Franklin 4 the Cure, an event that raises funds for discovery grants at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt takes place this weekend in the Westhaven community, located three miles west of downtown Franklin.
The event will kick off with the Family Fun Run 5K in the morning. This 5K will wind through the beautiful landscaped streets and paved trails located in the Westhaven community.The run will conclude with a party at the finish line that will include a DJ, giveaways, sponsor booths, and tons of fun.
Then, in the evening, Concert 4 the Cure, featuring Jeffery Steele, will take place on the Great Lawn at the Westhaven Residents Club.
Tickets are $35 for adults and $15 for children 10 and under.

2. Movie Night at Rippavilla Plantation
WHAT: Enjoy a “ghostly experience” on the lawn of Rippavilla Plantation as they screen “The Others.” Admission is free and Et Voila Bistro & Bakery foodtruck will be on site.

3. Nature Fest
WHAT: The 33rd annual festival will be held at the beautiful 700-acre Bowie Nature Park in Fairview. Nature Fest is celebrating the Honey Bee! The Honey Bee plays a vital role in our lives and at Nature Fest you can get hands on experience! Observe a live beehive through glass, learn how to be a beekeeper in your own backyard and how to harvest your own honey, and learn about pollinator friendly plants! Bring the whole family and enjoy music, living history, free kids games and crafts, hayrides, inflatables, shopping, food and more!

4. Mantra Artisan Ales Block Party
WHAT: Mantra Artisan Ales is hosting their 2nd Annual Block Party! Festivities include 50+ Mantra beers, 10+ guest breweries, food trucks, live music all day, circus acts, pop-up record shop, games, custom photobooth, DIY souvenir t-shirt printing, giant-sized beer pong tournament and much more!

5. Sunday Market
WHAT: The Sunday Market returns this weekend to The Factory. The Sunday Market features handmade goods designed by local artisans as well as high-quality vintage finds. Market admission is free, but guests are encouraged to learn about and support the community-focused non-profit highlighted.
