1Franklin Rodeo Parade

The Franklin Rodeo parade takes place this Saturday. Expect to see dancers, horses, dancing horses, floats, bands, and so much more.

2Jerry Seinfeld at FirstBank Amphitheater

Comedian Jerry Seinfeld is bringing his live comedy show to the FirstBank Amphitheater in Franklin.

3Renaissance Festival

Saturday-Sunday, May 9-10, 10 am – 6 pm

2135 Newcastle Road, Arrington

The Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department (WCPR) invites visitors to step back in time as the Tennessee Renaissance Festival returns this May for its 40th anniversary season at Castle Park in Arrington.

Each spring, the grounds are transformed into the bustling 16th-century English village of Covington Glen, where artisans, performers, and merchants bring history to life.

4Studio Tenn’s Jesus Christ Superstar

Friday-Sunday, May 8-10
The Factory at Franklin, 230 Franklin Road, Franklin

Studio Tenn—Franklin’s nonprofit professional theatre company—closes its 2025-26 season by bringing extraordinary Broadway talent to town for Jesus Christ Superstar. The star-studded cast, working alongside some of Nashville’s best professional actors, brings the legendary rock opera to the stage in an extended run from May 7 to May 31, 2026, at Turner Theater inside The Factory at Franklin.

5Iroquois Steeplechase

Saturday, May 9, 11 am – 6 pm

Percy Warner Park, 2500 Old Hickory Boulevard, Nashville

The 85th Iroquois Steeplechase, sponsored by Bank of America, returns to Nashville on Saturday, May 9, 2026, kicking off one of the city’s most anticipated spring traditions. Drawing more than 30,000 spectators annually, the event, known as “Nashville’s Rite of Spring,” has raised more than $11.4 million for Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.
