1. Music City Mentors

WHAT: 650 AM WSM will host Music City Mentors on Saturday, March 23. Pairing entertainment professionals with individuals who dream of a career in the music industry, Music City Mentors will take place at the Factory in Franklin. This inaugural event will provide music education and professional development opportunities to aspiring music professionals ages 15 and over. The day will feature 45-minute sessions focusing on songwriting, artist management, tour life, publicity and everything in between. SVP Artists Relations and Grand Ole Opry GM, Sally Williams, will give the keynote address. Attendees will conclude the day of unique professional development with “speed networking” opportunities from best-in-the-business professionals.

Tickets for the event are on sale now via wsmonline.com for $40.00. Lunch tickets will be available for purchase when registering.

2. Wildflower Hikes at Owl’s Hill

WHAT: Enjoy the first signs of spring with a wildflower hike at Owl’s Hill. Watch the browns of winter give way to the spectrum of spring while we look for Blue-eyed Mary, Dutchman’s Britches, and Spring Beauty. This is an adult only hike.

3. Movie Gang Presents Napoleon Dynamite

WHAT: It’s another movie gang event where they will show Napoleon Dynamite. They will be giving out Napoleon’s favorite food, Tater Tots + supporting Pedro’s campaign with a FREE “Vote For Pedro” button. This event will be so filled with the spirit of the film you might even feel like you’re in it. For a chance to win some awesome prizes, show up at 6:30 as your favorite character in the movie and enter the Napoleon Dynamite Look-a-like contest! The contest starts 20 minutes before the movie!!!

4. Cheekwood in Bloom

WHAT: There’s no place more beautiful than Cheekwood in the spring as more than 150,000 blooming bulbs spill from the gardens creating a color experience you won’t forget. Snowdrops, crocus, hyacinths, daffodils, magnolias, redbuds, and dogwoods are also in on the act, putting on an unforgettable show as warmer weather and longer days arrive in Nashville. There’s also a beer garden, guided tours, and kids storytime.

5. Kids Bunny Art Class

WHAT: Bring your child to this fun bunny art class! It will be held March 23th at 10am. It is $15 per child & the cost includes all supplies needed to create an adorable painted wooden bunny for your kiddo to take home.
