1. Sugar Drop – Deep Sea Swimming Cake Lesson

WHAT: They are diving deep into summer with this sweet snorkel cake. Students will each work on a 6” vanilla cake and will work with fondant, buttercream, molds and more to create an edible underwater creation. All supplies are included for this class. Class Fee: 55.00. Sign up here.

2. Nolensville InterTube Water Polo

WHAT: Join Parks & Rec for a new and challenging activity of Inner-Tube water polo at the Nolensville outdoor pool. The inflatable tube fun will have organized play is available on June 27 from 6 p to 8 p. Cost will be $4 for adults and $2 for children ages 3-17. No registration is required.

3. Carnton Sunset Series with Johnny Cash Now

WHAT: The Battle of Franklin Trust will host Johnny Cash Now for its annual Sunset Concert Series, a family-friendly, summer tradition providing outdoor concerts on the east lawn of Carnton.This year, Battle of Franklin Trust is adding the following food trucks and vendors to the grounds for the summer concert series: Grilled Cheeserie, The Sweet Bean, Ugly Burger, Edelweiss Boutique, Pandy Cotton Candy, TN Cobbler Co., Tchoupitaulas Street Cones, South Street Coffee and Cousins Main Lobster.

Tickets are $5 for children ages 6-15, $10 for adults in advance and $12 at the gate. In the event of inclement weather, every effort will be made to reschedule the concert. Tickets are nonrefundable.

4. SummerStock at Riverwalk

WHAT: Three Bands, Food Trucks all at the beautiful Riverwalk Park. Bald Kernal Kicks off the show at 5:30, BuckSixx plays at 6:30 then Foster Party of 8 is the final band playing at 7:45. Three Local bands with different styles of music.  Admission is Free. Sponsored by Amped Lighting and Sound and Columbia Parks and Recreation.

5. Still House Sessions at Leipers Fork Distillery

WHAT: The Still House Sessions will thrill whiskey and music lovers alike with a series of monthly shows in one of Tennessee’s premiere distilleries, the Leiper’s Fork Distillery. On June 28th they welcome #1 hit songwriter and acclaimed Americana artist Kevin Welch to the Still House Sessions.

Texas/Oklahoma songwriter and performer Kevin Welch is the sole songwriter on Chris Stapleton’s current single, “Millionaire.” The song was up for Best Country Solo Performance at the Grammy Awards in February. VIP tickets can enjoy a whiskey tasting before the show. Purchase ticket here.
