1Kids Construction Festival at Lucky Ladd Farms

Saturday, August 30, 10 am – 4 pm
Lucky Ladd Farms, 4306 Rocky Glade Road, Eagleville

Get your hard hats on and gear up for some big-time fun with some oversized toys! A special construction site will be ready for exploration. Kids can climb on excavators, a bulldozer and lots of other farm and construction equipment. Plus, fun activity centers to practice skills of trade, life size Jenga games and giant Lincoln log building sets.

2Paint Your Own Hat

Saturday, August 30, noon- 1 pm

Franklin Visitor Center, 400 Main Street, Franklin

Come paint your own hat with Tipsy Tennessee Hats, created by Heidi Easley, with fun styles inspired by Lainey Wilson and designed by you! Your class ticket includes a vegan suede adjustable hat with your choice of design (sunflowers, flowers, highlander) and color (tan, dark brown, dark green, pink, carmel). No experience necessary; come enjoy a fun time of painting, great music, and great company at the Franklin Visitor Center.

3Tea at Southall

Saturday-Sunday, August 30-31, 11 am – 1 pm

Southall Farm & Inn, 2200 Osage Loop, Franklin

This beloved offering is now back seasonally for the fall and invites guests to slow down and savor the season with a garden-inspired twist on the classic tea service. Presented by the property’s highly acclaimed restaurant, January, Tea by Southall will be offered Saturdays and Sundays with seatings from 11am – 1pm. Each seating features a prix-fixe menu of savory bites and sweet delights, crafted with ingredients freshly harvested from the farm.

4Maury County Fair 

Friday-Sunday, August 29-31, gates open at 5 p.m.

The Maury County Fair is back with rides, entertainment and more.

Friday 8/29
– My Day at Maury County Fair from 9am-12:30pm
– Senior Day: Free entry for seniors 55 and up *rides not included*
– Beef Show: 5:00 pm
– Tractor Pull: 6:30 pm in the Back Arena

Saturday 8/30
– My Day 5K and 1 Mile Trot at 8:00 am
– Chick Chain Show: 10:00 am
– Sheep Show: 2:00 pm
– Motocross: 6:30 pm in the Back Arena; Practice at 4:00 pm; Registration at 1:00 pm

Sunday 8/31
– Jump N Run: 6:30 pm in the Back Arena

Tickets are $12.50 for those over the age of 12, free for 12 and under.
