1. Studio Tenn Presents Frankenstein

WHAT: Set to bring Mary Shelly’s original monster Frankenstein to life August 31 through September 9, Studio Tenn kicks off the 2018-2019 season with Tennessee’s newest live adaptation of the Gothic novel, taking the stage at the Factory at Franklin’s Jamison Theater.

One of the most famous novels in literature to date, Frankenstein has remained relevant in popular culture for centuries through various interpretations in film, television, and writing. The second original adaptation by Studio Tenn, Artistic Director Matt Logan re-enlists the brilliant talents of writer A.S. Peterson to bring new understanding to the timeless tale. 2. Concert 4 the Cure at Westhaven

WHAT: Franklin 4 the Cure is an annual fundraiser to benefit pediatric cancer founded by the Stacey Family. Each year this event takes place in the Westhaven Community of Franklin. This year’s event will take place on Saturday, September 8th beginning at 5 pm on the Great Lawn at the Westhaven Resident’s Club, located at 401 Cheltenham Avenue, Franklin.

General admission tickets are $35 for adults and $15 for children 10 and under. VIP Tickets are $100. There are a limited number of VIP Experience tickets available. VIP tickets include hors-d’oeuvres and beverages with a premium view of the concert from the balcony. Beverages and food will be available for purchase for general admission. 3. “Spartan Your Engines” at Summit High School  

 

WHAT:“Spartan Your Engines” is a free Car Show in Spring Hill that will benefit the Summit High School Marching Band. $20 Entry Fee Per Vehicle, Door Prizes for Participants and multiple award categories. Entry Forms and Details found at SummitSpartanBand.org. Car Show starts at noon on Sunday, Sept. 9 until 6 p at Summit High School.

4. Sunday Market

 

WHAT: The Sunday Market returns on September 9 to The Factory at Franklin from 10:00 am  – 4:00 pm. The Sunday Market will feature handmade goods designed by local artisans as well as high-quality vintage finds. Market admission is free, but guests are encouraged to learn about and support the community-focused non-profit highlighted this month-Mercy Multiplied. See the complete list of vendors here.

5. Sur La Table Grandparents Day Cooking Event
