1. Healing with Song at Westlight Studio

 

WHAT: Spontuneous – The Song Game, presents “Healing with Song” featuring Backstage Nashville at Westlight Studios in Franklin, TN. Songwriters featured include Kent Blazy, Cory Batten, Ray Stephenson, and Tigilirty. Experience an intimate evening with legendary songwriters who wrote the hits we all know and love, and an opportunity to hear the stories behind what inspired their creativity.

All proceeds benefit Music Health Alliance; the music professional’s resource for healthcare. Their mission is to Heal the Music by providing access to healthcare with services that protect, direct & connect music professionals with medical and financial solutions across the nation.  Every dollar donated equates to $30 in healthcare financial resources. 2. DB5K for Fairview High School  

 

WHAT: The Donna Bledsoe 5K is held every year in honor of the late Donna Bledsoe. Bledsoe was a Fairview native and after graduating college came back to Fairview where she pursued her dream of running, being a teacher, coach for girls basketball and cross country. After losing Coach Bledsoe in a tragic accident, her family decided to give back to the community that she loved so much. Each year at the Fairview High School graduation a female and male athlete will receive an athletic scholarship. The proceeds from this 5K all go towards the 2 scholarships given out in memory of Coach Bledsoe. Register online here.

3. Oktoberfest 2018 at Mill Creek Brewing

 

WHAT: Join the fun at Mill Creek Brewing’s annual Oktoberfest bash at the Nolensville Taproom. They’ll be releasing their Oktoberfest beer alongside some classic Oktoberfest festivities.

Also, they will be serving up some German fair foods all day long and offering $1 off EVERY Oktoberfest pint if you dress up in your Oktoberfest best (time to dust off those lederhosens)!

4. Lucky Ladd Farms Pumpkin Patch

 

WHAT: It’s never to early to visit a pumpkin patch. Lucky Ladd farms is open on Saturday with tons of activities including a petting zoo, corn maze (this year, their corn maze plays homage to the Nashville Predators), playground and more. Learn more here.

5. Pilgrimage Music Festival at Harlinsdale Farm

 

WHAT: Pilgrimage Festival returns to Harlinsdale Farm this weekend. The two-day music event will have hours of music on multiple stages with headliners Jack White, Chris Stapleton, Lionel Richie, and Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds.

If you can’t make it to Harlinsdale Farm, there’s a Friday option. Pilgrimage’s Music on Main and Beyond is a free event on Friday from 1:30 p – 8:30 p in downtown Franklin where artists will perform in several venues in downtown Franklin.
