1. Brother Maven at Mockingbird Theater
WHAT: Local band, Brother Maven will perform at the Mockingbird Theater on Saturday evening. We spoke to them earlier this week where they described themselves as a mixture of blues, Southern Rock, a sound which rings familiar to the ears and yet it’s new- their own twist on the old. 2. Maury County Fair
WHAT: It’s the last weekend for the Maury County Fair. Friday night activities include a tractor pull, and concert with Clint Zimmerman, Jennifer Leigh / Bob Henderson, Four On The Floor.

3. Stop, Drop, and Decorate at Sugar Drop
WHAT: Ever wished there was a place you could go play with cake? Stop Drop & Decorate is the event for you! Sugar Drops event space will transform into a cake decorating DIY studio. Guests will select a 6” buttercream coated vanilla cake of their choice available in various colors. They will then be able to select two containers of fondant, a piping bag of buttercream, and three toppings. Tools and cutters, as well as hands-on assistance, will be available to provide help and answer questions.
This event is come and go and open to children ages 4 and older. Students under the age of 12 must have an adult present during the event. Students 12 and older may be dropped off and picked up.

4. Bump to Baby Franklin
WHAT: Bump to Baby Franklin is truly a Baby Fair for everyone: Expectant parents and new parents, men and women, couples, singles, friends, family, and, of course, bumps & babies. Come experience education, products, and services from 40+ vendors. There will be several keynote speakers throughout the day you won’t want to miss! They also will be giving away a PREMIER door prize at 2:30 p the day-of, that is worth over $1500 – must be present to win.

5. Arrington Vineyards Labor Day Weekend Event
WHAT: Stop by Arrington Vineyards for music in the vines. Friday night music starts at 4 p with Craig Morris & King Cotton – Bluegrass at the Barn with food trucks Cousins Maine Lobster, Dem Bonez, and Simply Living Life.
Saturday performances start at 4 p with Volt Romeo – Jazz in the Pavilion. Food trucks on-site include Music City Brisket, Peach Cobbler Factory, and Simply Living Life.
