1. Brentwood Library Book Sale

WHAT: Looking for a book to take to the beach or vacation? Friends of Brentwood Library will host its book sale this weekend.

The sale takes place June 8th – 10th with hours from 10 a to 5:30 p  on Friday and Saturday, and Sunday hours will be from 1p to 5:30p.  On Sunday, all items are half price.

The June sale is a combination of the organization’s regular Spring and Summer book sales. Friends of Brentwood Library are combining these sales due to the renovation of the meeting rooms at The John P. Holt Brentwood Library, which is underway and scheduled to be finished soon.

Included in this sale will be audio/visual materials – DVD movies, audio books, and music along with a collection of old books – individually priced from $2.00 to $75.00.

FOBL Book Sale committee chair Cyn Sweet says, “This is a great place for bargains.  Most of our books are donated and in great shape.  Except for a few specialty items, prices are $3.00 and under.”

2. Hoggin’ N Joggin’


WHAT: 
Hoggin’ N Joggin’ is an individual 4k (2.5 mile) eat-and-run event in historic Nolensville that challenges your stamina and stomach! On race day enjoy a mini-meal from one of Nolensville’s finest fares before you hit the streets to complete your feat. All the proceeds from the race benefit the Nolensville Food Pantry. 3. The Hunt Festival

WHAT: The Hunt is an authentic Leiper’s Fork annual antique, artisan, and mercantile fundraising fair which supports Friends of the Fork, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non –profit organization. Friends of the Fork, Inc. assists individuals and families within the local and surrounding communities during difficult times. Financial assistance includes payment of household bills, groceries and providing Christmas presents for needy families.

This show will include more than 50 vendors showcasing their quality artwork, vintage finds, antiques, repurposed & reclaimed antiques, hand-picked and hand-crafted art, fashion & jewelry. Our vendors keep up with what’s trending with a wealth of knowledge that benefits shoppers from advice on purchases within your budget to how to marry your purchases with items in your collections. Admission is $5 Friday-Sunday and parking is free

4. Franklin Improv All Stars

 
WHAT:The Franklin Improv All Stars – Franklin’s own brand of comedy has a show each month at The Little Brick Theater in the Factory at Franklin. The comedy group brings short form improv games and long form scenes to the theater’s historic stage. And the extra fun – the show is based on your audience suggestions.
