1. Sunflower Saturday

Sunflower Sunday

WHAT: Join the Spring Hill’s Community Garden. Bring the kids, bring a picnic, plant a few sunflowers (seeds provided). Take a look at two Eagle Scouts’ finished projects, do some wildlife-watching, and see where public gardening spaces are being built.

Activities include: Plant sunflowers. Seeds have been provided by Realtor Cynthia M. Beard. You can plant a row of tall sunflowers in the meadow! Bring your garden gloves and a trowel or shovel if you have one. “The Hiking Guy” Greg Bearden and Pat Bearden will be hosting a kid’s hike around the property and doing all sorts of cool projects and activities. Sponsored by The Bearden Group, Keller Williams Realty. Spring Hill Parks & Recreation will be sharing some fun outdoor games.

2. WCS Fine Arts Festival

WHAT: 
Join the annual Williamson County Schools Fine Arts Festival on Saturday. It’s a time where students showcase their talents all day at this free event.

WHEN: Saturday, April 7, 10 a – 5 p

WHERE: The Factory in Franklin, 230 Franklin Road, Franklin

3. Shakespeare in Hollywood 

 

WHAT: It’s 1934 and Shakespeare’s most famous fairies, Oberon and Puck, have magically materialized on the Warner Bros. Hollywood set of Max Reinhardt’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” resulting in this hilarious comic romp.

Tickets can be purchased online at www.townecentretheatre.tix.com or by calling the box office at (615) 221-1174. Show times are 8:00 p for evening performances and 2:30 p for Sunday performances. Doors open 30 minutes prior to curtain. All seating is general admission. Tickets are non-refundable.

Tickets are $16 for students, $18 for military and seniors 60 and over, and $20 for adults.

4. Rodeo & Juliet Show 

WHAT: An intimate and fun evening of American Roots music celebrating favorite timeless classics, blended with original songs hosted by Adventures of Rodeo & Juliet (Chris and Jan Harris). This weekend’s show features Grammy winner Ashley Cleveland.  Join in for a special Blue-Eyed Soul night and make musical memories with the “Dear Hearts and Gentle People” of Franklin Tennessee.

5. Mimosa’s at Ravenswood Mansion

WHAT: Join in for the 2nd Annual Mimosas at Marcella’s event at Ravenswood Mansion located at 1825 Wilson Pike in Brentwood. The celebration will be on Sunday, April 8 from 1pm-4pm. This event serves as the Spring Open House for potential clients or anyone from the community who has always wanted to see inside the historic home. It’s a casual drop-in style event with free food and drink provided by local vendors.

Brentwood Mayor Jill Burgin and other City leaders will unveil a new courtyard at Ravenswood Mansion at 2:30pm with a brief program and ribbon cutting in the backyard. There will also be thirty-minute guided tours given of the Ravenswood Mansion at 1pm, 2pm and 3pm. There will also be two vintage baseball games happening also on Sunday at Smith Park at noon and 2:30pm. Please visit our website for more information.
