1. Valentine’s Day Farm-to-Table Dinner

Gratitude Ranch Farm to Table Dinner

WHAT: Join Gratidude Ranch for a 5-course meal in the guest house. The meal is scratch-made, fresh, organic, and in-season, all sourced from local farms. The event is BYOB for those 21 and over and requires reservations. Live music will be on site and a portion of the proceeds benefits SAFE, serving area foster youth. Purchase tickets online here.

2. Fabulous Friends for Africa

WHAT: Dinner and dancing is back again this year to support the non-profit African Leadership. After ten years of faithful dedication, the founding women took a step to pass this event to the next generation. The 2018 dance will be put on and facilitated by the founding members’ daughters and their friends, in an effort to keep the dream and goal of the event alive for years to come. 3. Franklin on Foot Tour

 

WHAT: Franklin on Foot’s walking tours have been a local favorite since 2003, but they’re about to do something for the first time. On Saturday, February 10th, they will host a special event, billed as a Psychic Ghost Walk. The night tour will be led by veteran guide Alicia King Marshall, and feature celebrated psychic medium, Janet Lemley.

“We’ll walk through the haunted streets of historic Franklin as the medium delivers messages and shares her impressions along the way,” says Franklin on Foot owner, Margie Thessin. She adds, “We’re happy to welcome Janet Lemley to Franklin. She’s a gifted psychic and I’m excited to see if she’ll connect with some of Franklin’s more colorful past residents.”

The two-hour tour will begin at 7:00pm. Cost is $60 per person, and is not recommended for anyone under sixteen.

They encourage anyone interested to act quickly, as they’re limiting this event to 25 guests. Tickets can be purchased online at franklinonfoot.com.

4.  Sur La Table – Date Night A Taste of Tuscany

 

WHAT: Sure, you’d love to sweep your date off to Tuscany, but bringing Tuscany to you is way more doable (and affordable). Explore Italy’s bold flavors as you practice searing, braising, roasting and making classic ragout. You’ll end on a sweet note with perfectly poached pears and a Prosecco zabaglione. 5. Grassroots of Grassland at Franklin Theatre

 

WHAT: It’s the 3rd annual Grassroots of Grassland event where they will showcase talented Songwriters: Grassland parents, Nic Gonzalez and Jaci Valesquez & Keith Anderson along with James T Slater & Jesse Lee.  The show will be opening with CB30- Grassland Elementary graduate Brody Clementi and brother Christian, current students at Grassland Middle School and Franklin High School. This is guaranteed to be a great show benefitting the Arts at Grassland Elementary. We will also be hosting a silent auction which includes a beach vacation stay, braces, Disney tickets and many other local gift cards & summer camps. Purchase tickets online here.
