1. Marshmallow Hikes at Owl’s Hill

 

WHAT: Are you looking for something to do with the family during the holidays or an excuse to get out of the house by yourself? How does a nice hike in the winter woods followed by hot chocolate and roasted marshmallows sound? Visit Owl’s Hill for their annual Marshmallow and Hot Chocolate Hikes.

2. The Farm Dogs at Puckett’s Columbia

WHAT: This Rocking Storytelling Folk-Americana Band comes from Nashville, Tennessee and the musicianship does Nashville proud. Original tunes that make you think, cry, laugh, or sigh.

The band is made up of Nashville musicians: Brian Mac, bass player, and Paul Ferguson, vocalist; percussionist Jamie Christian who has just come off tour with artist Josh Thompson. And Markus Stadler playing Banjo, Dobro, Mandolin, and recently back up vocals with Dierks Bentley but is now a Farm Dogs member.

There’s no cover for the event, reservations are recommended.

3. The Movie Gang: The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe

WHAT: This December marks the 4 year anniversary of The Movie Gang! On Friday, they will show The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe.

Based on the 2nd book of the series by C.S. Lewis, “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe,” tells the story of 4 children who go to live with an old professor during the war. One day, while playing hide and seek, Lucy, the youngest child, finds a wardrobe which leads to a magical land called Narnia.

The night includes:

4. Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl

WHAT: Purdue University Boilermakers will represent the Big Ten in the 21st annual Bowl as they take on the Auburn University Tigers of the Southeastern Conference (SEC). Kickoff will be Friday, Dec. 28 at 12:30 p.m. CST at Nissan Stadium in Nashville. The game will be televised live on ESPN.

This year’s Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl will mark the beginning of a partnership with Tailgate Guys for an exciting game day Fan Zone outside of Nissan Stadium. Premium hospitality & tailgating experiences will be available through Tailgate Guys vast array of offerings. Opening several hours before kickoff at 9AM CST, fans will be able to enjoy the Fan Zone’s interactive exhibits, food and drink, music, and fun for locals and visitors alike.

5. Spring Hill Club 50 at Arby’s

WHAT: Arby’s, at 1070 Crossings Circle in Spring Hill, is celebrating its grand opening. The grand opening celebration includes a Club 50 event, in which the first 50 qualified participants will receive one Arby’s meal per week for a year (equating to 52 meals). The Club 50 event starts Friday, December 28th at 10 a.  Get there early as the winners will be awarded starting at 10 a as Arby’s celebrates its grand opening.
