1. Dickens of a Christmas
WHAT: The Heritage Foundation of Williamson County, TN’s 35th annual Dickens of a Christmas will return to downtown Franklin on Saturday, Dec. 14 and Sunday, Dec. 15, 2019. Dickens of a Christmas is free and open to the public.

2. Studio Tenn’s Cinderella
WHAT: Studio Tenn is performing Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella in Jamison Theatre at the Factory at Franklin Friday, Dec. 6 through Friday, Dec. 29. The beloved musical boasts a diverse cast of highly acclaimed artists, with Erica Patterson starring as the title character.

3. Spring Hill Christmas Parade
WHAT: The theme for this year’s Spring Hill Christmas Parade is“Christmas at the Movies.” Pay homage to your favorite Christmas movies and celebrate the season on December 14th. The parade starts at the Tennessee Children’s Home and continues down Main Street. Find the complete parade route here.

4. Skate Night and Pictures with Santa
WHAT:Come to the Fairview Recreation Complex on Friday night, December 13 to skate and get your picture with Santa! Kids will be able to skate with Santa, play holiday-themed skating games, and have a picture taken with Kris Kringle himself. It’s a perfect chance to ask Santa for those new skates you have been wanting. Cost: $5 per person. All ages welcome.

5. Melinda Doolittle Holiday Soul Concert
WHAT: Franklin resident Melinda Doolittle is a soul-stirring songstress. Her love of singing drove her to enter a talent show in the seventh grade where she stunned the audience with her miraculously spot-on vocals and beautiful voice. Melinda graduated with a Bachelor’s in Music from Belmont University in Nashville, TN. She became a highly sought after background vocalist singing for musical icons including Michael McDonald, Aretha Franklin, BeBe and CeCe Winans, Aaron Neville and Jonny Lang.
