1. Spring Hill Hot Air Balloon Spooktacular

WHAT: The event will be at the Tennessee Children’s Home however you will enter the event at 3398 Kedron Road, Spring Hill, TN 37174. The first annual Spring Hill Hot Air Balloon Spooktacular brought to you by Middle Tennessee Hot Air Adventures, LLC will be hosted at the Tennessee Children’s Home with a portion of the proceeds directly benefiting the Children’s Home in Spring Hill Tennessee. Put the costumes on and come out to this Halloween themed hot air balloon event featuring: trick-or-treating, pumpking decorating, food trucks, inflatables, tethered balloon rides, and more.

2. Fisk Jubilee Singers – Franklin Theatre

Fisk Jubilee Singers

 

WHAT: The Fisk Jubilee Singers® are vocal artists and students at Fisk University in Nashville, TN., who sing and travel worldwide. The original Jubilee Singers introduced ‘slave songs’ to the world in 1871 and were instrumental in preserving this unique American musical tradition known today as Negro spirituals.

They broke racial barriers in the US and abroad in the late 19th century and entertained Kings and Queens in Europe. At the same time, they raised money in support of their beloved school. Purchase tickets online here.

3. Susan G. Komen Race Brentwood 

 

WHAT: The annual Susan G. Komen race will take place on Saturday, Oct. 27. Race village opens at 7 a, followed by a dog costume contest, survivor parade, and 5K begins at 9. Expect road closures until the race is complete. Register for the event online here

4. Tennessee State Museum Ghost Story Festival

 WHAT: One of the State Museum’s most popular events is back at the newly opened museum. There will be chilling ghost stories from Tennessee’s past along with prizes, and craft activities. Wear your costume, the costume parade begins at noon. Refreshments available until supplies run out.

5. Poloween Match at Harlinsdale Farm

WHAT: The third annual POLOWEEN event is this weekend. This unique polo match is one of our favorites. Packed with family fun, costumes, trick-or-treating, and thrilling entertainment, you can’t go wrong with spending your afternoon with at Poloween!

The Superheroes will once again take on the Villains in a warm-up match. The feature game will bring out the talented players from University of Kentucky to compete against the famous “FPA”!
