For the second month in a row, The Williamson Source will sponsor the Franklin Art Scene Trolley. For three years, the Franklin Art Scene has occurred on the first Friday of the month. Thanks to the hard work of Franklin Transit, a trolley has been available to take attendees from spot to spot for a flat fee of $5 per rider. WilliamsonSource.com General Manager Clark Shelton saw a chance to help a great event and decided the company would step up this summer and provide some relief in the heat :
“As someone who was involved in the Franklin Art Scene from the beginning, and watched it grow beyond all of our expectations, I have an opportunity to do something to support local art and to give more folks the chance to see what a wonderful event this is. This event has been possible because of the hard work of The Downtown Franklin Association and many local business owners like Kelly Harwood at Gallery 202 , Michael D’Amico at D’Amico Gallery, and Sheridan PR. We are glad, as one of the newer companies here in Williamson County, to be a part of this event and will always strive to support local businesses and local artists.”
The Franklin Art Scene is free to the public and is the first Friday of every month (except in July). The event “officially” starts at 6:00 p.m. and ends at 9:00 p.m.
