On Wednesday, Feb. 24, from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m., Williamson Medical Center, one of Williamson County’s top employers, will host Team WMC Recruiting Day in the atrium of Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital Vanderbilt at Williamson Medical Center.
More than 20 departments throughout the hospital will have senior-level representatives on hand to meet, interview and even make job offers on the spot to qualified candidates.
“We really want to open our doors to anyone in the community who is looking to join our team,” said Phyllis Molyneux, WMC’s Associate Administrator for Compliance, HR & Education. “This event is going to provide qualified applicants direct access to hiring managers and streamline the application process. So we hope anyone who has ever thought about coming to work with us will stop by, learn a few things about the benefits of working here and quite possibly leave with a job.”
Team WMC Recruiting Day will include directors or managers from: adult emergency care, cardiopulmonary, case management, chest pain center, critical care, EMS, environmental services, information technology, joint and spine center, labor and delivery/NICU, laboratory services, medical/surgical nursing, nutritional services, oncology, pediatric emergency care, pharmacy, radiology, rehabilitation services, surgery and Williamson Medical Group’s physician practices. All departments represented have openings.
In the last few months alone, Williamson Medical Center has been named among the top 10 percent of hospitals nationwide for overall hospital, medical and surgical care by CareChex, one of the nation’s largest privately held healthcare information services companies. In addition, WMC was awarded two Women’s Choice Awards for 2016 for ranking as one of America’s Best Hospitals in both Obstetrics and Breast Health care.
