In Thompson Station on Monday, Willliamson Medical Center cut the ribbon on its newest treatment center, Tollgate Medical Plaza, located at 1106 Elliston Way.
“We are excited to offer these services to this area of our community,” said WMC’s Associate Administrator for Operations, Tim Burton. “We have been waiting for the right time to open our doors here and all indicators show that this is the right time and we couldn’t be happier.”
Patients, community members and people from local businesses were there to tour the three story building and view WMC’s diagnostic imaging center, lab and physical therapy offices.
“Williamson Medical Center is known across the county and the Nashville region for its high quality of care,” Williamson County Chamber President Matt Largen said. “Thompson’s Station is one of the fastest-growing parts of Williamson County, so Williamson Medical’s investment here will make a tremendous difference in the lives of the residents of this area. It will make this area of the county more attractive to residents and companies who look to expand in or relocate to Thompson’s Station.”
Scott Lieberman, M.D., is an internal medicine physician who recently relocated his practice from WMC’s Franklin campus to Tollgate Medical Plaza. He and his family live in Thompson’s Station and he is thrilled to be seeing patients right in his own back yard.
“This is an exciting time for me as my family and I have lived in the wonderful community of Thompson’s Station since 2002. To be able to practice medicine and serve the community where my family and I live has been a lifelong dream,” said Lieberman.
The diagnostic imaging center, lab and physical therapy offices are all open to anyone being referred for those services. They are not exclusive to Williamson Medical Group or Williamson Medical Center patients.
