Congressman Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) hosted her 3rd annual Congressional Leadership Summit, a chance for elite high school juniors and seniors to come together, hear from some of Tennessee’s most successful citizens, and grow their leadership skills. Approximately 100 students from across Tennessee’s Seventh Congressional District were an active part of speaker talks, breakout sessions, and leadership building activities. This high-energy, all-day event was held on the campus of Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, TN.
Each school in Tennessee’s Seventh Congressional District was invited to send a total of 5-6 students to the Congressional Leadership Summit. This year’s guest speakers included: Kelly Gilfillan, CEO of Home Page Media; Robert Hartline, CEO of CallProof.com Mobile App for Outside Sales Teams; Dr. Alisa White, President of Austin Peay State University; and Congressman Marsha Blackburn.
