Williamson County School's PSAs Win National Awards

From WCS inFocus

Williamson County Schools Public Service Announcement (PSA) campaigns are once again earning national recognition.

The National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA) awarded the WCS Communications Department two Golden Achievement Awards for campaigns Just Drive and It’s Yellow for a Reason. The Golden Achievement Awards are given out each year to recognize exemplary work in all aspects of school public relations, communication, marketing and engagement.

“We share these awards with our Safety and Security team of Mike Fletcher and Nick Vacco, the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office and the WCS Transportation Department,” said WCS Communications Director Carol Birdsong. “With their help, we’ve been able to spread the very important message of being aware on the roads and keeping our students safe.”

The first video in the Just Drive series can be seen below along with the It’s Yellow for a Reason compilation video.
