If you want to work in WCS, here’s your opportunity. Williamson County Schools is hosting a district-wide career fair to fill open positions across the county.

On February 17, the career fair will be held at Independence High School from 9 a.m. until noon.

“The benefit of this career fair is for the principals, assistant principals and staff members to meet an abundance of potential candidates for open positions within the school district on a less formal level,” said WCS Human Resources Recruiter David Harries. “It allows the candidates to learn what WCS has to offer on a district level as well as an individual school level.”

WCS is looking to fill teaching positions at various schools as well as full-time and part-time classified positions, such as food service workers, bus drivers, substitute teachers, teaching assistants, child care workers, and maintenance staff.

WCS provides employees with health, dental and life insurance with options to add more voluntary benefits. The district is also offering a signing/hiring bonus for hard-to-fill positions like high school math, physics, special education, chemistry, world languages and school psychologists.

For those interested in attending, be sure to bring a resume and dress professionally. For more information, email Harries at [email protected] or reach him by phone at 615-472-4075.
