Williamson County Library Foundation Hosts Annual Fundraiser

“Readers to Leaders” is the theme of the Williamson County Library Foundation’s 2018 Love Our Libraries event, to be held on October 18, 2018, at the Williamson County Enrichment Center.

This year’s event seeks to raise $40,000 for improvements in the children’s sections at each of the six Williamson County Library System’s branches (Bethesda, College Grove, Fairview, Franklin, Leipers Fork, and Nolensville) including:

AWE Learning Early Literacy Stations that build literacy skills, improve school readiness and prepare 2 – 8 year olds for curriculum.

AWE Learning AfterSchool Edge offering homework assistance for 6 – 12 year olds
Whimsical murals in the children’s departments to make the magic of reading come alive

Beginning at 5:30 p.m. on October 18th, this year’s event, co-chaired by Janine and Tom Moore and Mike and Pam Terrell, includes a reception, a silent and live auction with several wonderful items that are sure to draw the attention and interest of the guests, a dinner, and a short program.

The Williamson County Enrichment Center, located adjacent to and just south of the Franklin library branch, provides guests with an opportunity to visit the library either before or after the event.

Tickets to the 2018 Love Our Libraries event are available for $50 per person and may be obtained by visiting the Foundation and event’s website, www.LoveOurLibraries.com. Sponsorship information is also available on the website.
