Williamson County High Schools Blood Challenge

Red Cross Blood Drive Williamson County

On Monday, July 23rd County High Schools are attempting to collect 38 pints of blood for the Red Cross. From 1:30-6pm at the Williamson County Public Library, 1314 Columbia Avenue, the Red Cross will have stations ready for your generosity. Blood is at critically low levels across the state and Williamson County has been stepping up to the needle.

So far the schools have been able to schedule 32 donors for their drive but the need is much larger than this drive. Go to www.redcrossblood.org and click “make a blood donation appointment” at the top right. In the “enter sponsor code box” type williamson19 and you will be led to a place where you can schedule for this drive. Walk-ins are always welcome too.

“All of the high school students involved are really excited,” said Lynn Smith, Donor Recruitment Representative for the American Red Cross. “I’m so impressed with the National Honor Society students at BGA and Centennial who are helping recruit friends and family to donate at the blood drive.”

Please go help save a life today, you never know when you or your family will be the ones in need.
