Williamson County CASA recently welcomed Susan Reinfeldt as director of development and Rachel Mason as an advocate supervisor.
“We are so excited to have Susan and Rachel on our team here at Williamson County CASA,” said Marianne Schroer, executive director of Williamson County CASA. “Susan has unparalleled experience in the nonprofit sector and Rachel has a history of working with CASA and supporting the children and families that we work with on a day-to-day basis. I know they will both be wonderful additions to our team.”
Reinfeldt, a resident of Williamson County, has an extensive background in development, marketing and public relations. As founder and owner of The Write Word, she has spent 25 years helping small businesses and nonprofits enhance their presence in the marketplace. Some of her recent clients include Studio Tenn Theatre Company, Nashville Rescue Mission, Narrow Gate Foundation and several other nonprofit organizations.
She received her undergraduate degree in marketing and broadcast journalism from St. Thomas University in St. Paul, Minn. Specializing in grief and loss therapy, she received her master’s in counseling psychology from Northwest University in Seattle and opened her own private practices in Seattle and Nashville.
When she is not working, Reinfeldt enjoys hiking, travel, wine tasting and spending time with her children and grandchild. She currently serves on the Board of the Leukemia Lymphoma Society. She is a public speaker and author of “Better Together,” a two-part family bible study curriculum.
Originally from Middle Tennessee, Mason has a long-standing involvement with CASA. With a bachelor’s in health science from University of South Florida, Mason has a background in social and behavioral health and a passion to serve children in her community.
She began volunteering with CASA in Florida, where she was offered a position as volunteer supervisor. After moving back to Middle Tennessee, Mason was pleased to continue a path with CASA as advocate supervisor for Williamson County CASA.
